Norma Jeanne Tolman, age 71, passed away on Monday,
December 30, 2002 of cancer. Born in Idaho to Freda Little
and Leslie J. Juchau, Jeanne was the fourth of six children.
Married to Alex Richard Tolman in 1950 in the Idaho Falls
Temple, Jeanne was the mother of six children.
In 1970, Jeanne and her family moved to new Zealand with
the Church Education System. In 1973, they were transferred
to the Fiji Islands. She developed the first seminary
program there.
Jeanne is survived by her husband; her father, aged 98;
three brothers and a sister; six children: Rick (Linda)
Tolman, Jon (Lisa) Tolman, Jim Tolman, Ted (Kris) Tolman,
Leslee (Dave) Preece, Talei (Jeff) Lawson; 32 grand and
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 3,
2003 in the Salem Stake Center Chapel, 470 E. Salem Canal
Road. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:45
a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be
in the Salem City Cemetery under the direction of Walker
Family Mortuary of Spanish Fork. |
